Shrine OverviewThe Shrine is conveniently located about 30 miles north of New York City in the community of West Haversham, a pleasant contrast to the fast-paced urban environment of the 'Big Apple.'
The Marian Shrine is a place to relax, reflect and pray. It is an apostolate of the Salesians of St. John 'Don' Bosco, and reflects the saint's love of Mary, Help of Christians, traditional Roman Catholic devotions, love of the Sacraments and desire to bring young people to Christ utilizing recreation. The contemporary (Novus Ordo) Mass is offered daily.
An up-to-date, air conditioned retreat center with fifty private rooms (capacity of 100 guests) is attached to a large dining room area with meeting rooms.
