Third Orders
For the most part, the Third Orders listed below are composed of orthodox Catholics. However, caution should be exercised when reading contemporary writings by members of each respective Order as
heterodox elements are present in varying degrees (just as they are throughout the Church itself). It is amazing that the writings, admonitions and practices of the saints who founded these Orders are just as practical and useful in the third milennium as they were in the past.
