  • The people of God have always needed reform in varying degrees throughout history. The Lord used the prophets to reform the nation of Israel under the Old Covenant, while Popes and Saints have been His tools in the era of the Church. With Vatican II, the laity have been commissioned to take a more active role than ever before in this vital process.

Satan is slow and deliberate in his corrupting schemes...would-be reformers are often rash and impatient, resulting in schism (Eastern Orthodox, Protestants, 'Old' Catholics, etc.). Hebrews 12:6 has often been forgotten: For whom the Lord loveth, he chastiseth... History has shown that the Church hierarchy itself has sometimes been the source of testing and trial to the faithful (read how some bishops treated the saints in their time).

The Church of the third millennium cries out for the restoration of orthodox teaching and liturgical practices. This is a resource providing easy-to-access information and tools to foster reform. Through prayer and seeking the Lord's will, find the path the Lord wants you to follow and take action.

This section of Memorare.com is under the patronage of St. Pope Pius X who more than any other pope in modern history foresaw all of the aspects of the struggle in which the modern Church under the pontificate of John Paul II is engaged.

"To restore all things in Christ, so that Christ may be all in all"
"It is necessary, therefore, to join prayer with action"
