Confraternity of Mary Queen of All Hearts
The Confraternity of Mary Queen of All Hearts is a union of Roman Catholics who have made the Total Consecration to Mary as outlined by
St. Louis de Montfort. There is no 'official' site for the Confraternity...this page is informational, but accurate.
Practices (as with Total Consecration)
1. Recite the Little Crown of the Blessed Virgin (3 'Our Fathers' and 12 'Hail Marys')
2. Wear a chain or medal reminding us of holy slavery (optional practice)
3. Have special devotion to the Mystery of the Incarnation
4. Devotion and frequent recitation of the Rosary and the Magnificat
5. Have 'great contempt' for the world and its maxims
6. Make every effort do everything THROUGH, WITH, IN and FOR Jesus through Mary
7. Recite this prayer upon rising:
I am Thine and all I have is Thine, O most loving Jesus, through Mary, Thy Holy Mother
8. Officially entering one's name with an authorized Confraternity Center**
Benefits (as with Total Consecration)
1. Grace is increased in our soul through Mary's intercession and provision
2. Freedom of spirit which is delivered from weariness, sadness and scruples
3. Share in the spiritual graces from the prayers and good works of the Montfortian family
4. Our good works are more effective since they are sanctified and embellished by the Blessed Virgin
Indulgences
The indulgences listed may be plenary if the Confraternity member specifically desires to gain the indulgence,
goes to Confession (within 8 days of the day), receives Holy Communion, prayers for the Pope's intentions, and is free from attachment to sin (including venial sin). Otherwise, a partial
indulgence is earned.
