Catechesis is the instruction and formation in Christian (Catholic) faith.
The premier catechism was that of the Council of Trent (1545-1563). The Baltimore Catechism was (and is?) most popular among American Catholics with derivations such as My Catholic Faith going into more detail. In 1994, Pope John Paul II
published a new catechism.
Shorter, teaching catechisms, have been developed in different world regions (like the Baltimore Catechism in America).
This page is designed to support and reinforce the catechical process through premier links to online resources, providing books and software for indepth study, and through online games at this site designed to make learning fun.
