God and the Theological Virtues
1. Who made you and why?
God made me to know, love and serve Him
in this world, and be happy with Him forever
in the next.
2. In whose image/ likeness did God make you?
His own image and likeness.
3. Is this likeness to God primarily in your soul?
Yes. It is an immortal spirit which will never die.
4. What must you do to save your soul?
I must worship God by Faith, Hope and Charity.
5. What is faith?
Faith is a supernatural gift that enables us to
believe without doubting whatever God
has revealed.
6. What is hope?
A supernatural gift of God, by which we firmly
trust that God will give us eternal life and all
means necessary to obtain it as long as we
obey Him.
7. What is Charity?
A supernatural gift of God by which we love God
above all things, and our neighbor as ourselves
for God's sake.
8. Why are these three called theological virtues?
Because they have God as their object.
