Precepts of the Church
1.   Are we bound to obey the Church? 

    Yes because Christ told the leaders of the Church:  'He that  heareth you, heareth  
      me: and he that despiseth  you, despiseth me.' Luke 10:16 

2.   What are the six precepts or commandments of the Church? (CC-MM-FF)

 ~      Confession at least once a year

 ~ Communion at least once a year, at Easter
 
  ~   Mass assistance on Sundays and Holydays of Obligation

 ~ Marriage laws of the Church obeyed

 ~ Fasting and abstinence days  appointed by the Church observed

 ~ Financially contribute to the support the Church

3.  How do we observe Sundays and Holydays? 

 ~ Attending Mass and avoid servile works 

 ~ Seeing that all in our care do also

 ~Exceptions:  illness or vital employment
