1. Who is Jesus Christ?
Jesus Christ is God the Son, made man for us.
2. Is Jesus Christ truly God?
Yes, He is God and has the same nature as the Father, born of the Father from all eternity.
3. Is Jesus Christ truly man?
Yes, because he has the nature of man: a body and a soul.
4. Was Jesus Christ always man?
No, only from the time if His Incarnation.
5. What is meant by the ‘Incarnation?’
It means that God the Son took to himself the nature of man: 'the Word was made Flesh'.
6. How many natures are there in Jesus Christ?
Two: the nature of God and the nature of man.
7. How many persons are in Christ the Son?
Only one: the Person of God the Son.
8. Why was God the Son made man?
In order to redeem us from sin and hell, and to teach us the way to heaven.
9. What does the holy name Jesus Christ mean?
JESUS means Saviour; CHRIST means Anointed.
10. Where is Jesus Christ?
As God, He is everywhere. As God made man, He is in heaven and in the Blessed Sacrament on earth.
