    No, we need the help of God's grace.

    Prayer, fasting, almsdeeds (good works).

3.   What are the three Evangelical Councils? 

    Voluntary poverty,  perpetual chastity and entire obedience. 

4.  What are the four last things to remember? 

  Death, Judgment, Hell, and Heaven.  (Ecclus 7:40)

5.   What are sacramentals? 

    Holy objects or actions (including blessings) that gain spiritual and temporal      
      favors through the Church's intercession (medals, rosaries, etc.). 

6.  What are their chief benefits? (FARAP) 

     ~  Forgiveness of venial sins 
  ~   Actual graces 

     ~ Remission of temporal punishment 

     ~ Assorted material blessings 

     ~ Protection from evil spirits 

7.  What is prayer?  (TAAR)

    Lifting of our minds and hearts to God to: 

  ~    Thank him 

~    Adore and love Him 


 ~    Ask forgiveness 

  ~    Request graces and blessings
