Commandments Five, Six and Seven

    'Thou shalt not kill' 

1. What actions does are forbidden? 

     ~ Willful murder 

  ~ Fighting, quarreling and injurious words 

 ~   Scandal and bad  example 

 ~ Anger, hatred and revenge 

'Thou shalt not commit  adultery'


2.  What does this Commandment forbid? 

    Impurity and immodesty in thoughts, words and actions,  alone or with others. 

3.  What are the chief ways to preserve chastity? 

   ~   Avoid questionable situations and places
 
   ~  Prayer and devotion (especially to Mary)
  
~    Frequent assistance at Mass, communion and confession 

'Thou shalt not  steal' 


4.  What is forbidden? 

 ~ Unjust taking  or keeping what belongs to others

 ~      Cheating, bribe-taking or swindling 

    ~  Keeping ill-gotten goods 

      ~ Not paying out debts 

      ~ Wasting an employer's or neighbor's time and property 

      ~ Keeping or damaging others' property
